NORDERSTEDT, Germany, June 08, 2022 / B3C newswire / -- Cellbox Solutions is proud to launch the Cellbox 2.0 - the next generation of transportable incubators showcasing added features, improvements, and new software options. The company increased the self-sufficient runtime of the device to more than 48 hours, enabled collection of comprehensive shipment data via 8 different sensors, and upgraded the software and user interface to make the Cellbox 2.0 the best solution for worldwide live cell and organoid transportation, both in regulated and R&D environments.
Cellbox 2.0 - controlled and safe live cell transport
The Cellbox makes it possible – for the first time ever – to ship live cells and other delicate biological materials under prolonged controlled incubatory conditions. With the extended runtime of the Cellbox 2.0 and the international flight permission, the device can easily reach locations all over the world. The incubation environment can be flexibly adjusted for each transport to the specific needs of the biological material, allowing for a wide range of cell types and tissues to be transported under optimal conditions.
"Cellbox Solutions is establishing new standards in live cell transport and shipping, creating the possibility to ship all sensitive biological material alive, now also in the Cell and Gene Therapeutic environment. We enable researchers to share their biological material without the need to freeze it down. This expands options for research and company collaborations." says Cellbox Solutions CEO, Wolfgang Kintzel. “We see a fastly emerging market with high growth potential of biological materials that need new shipping solutions as an alternative to cold chain and cryo shipments, for example: complex but highly relevant cell systems, organoids or regenerative biological materials and various CGT products.”
To better meet the demand from various customer segments, Cellbox Solutions further developed their already successful devices into a more diverse product portfolio focusing on compliance for clinical trials. “The reworked software combined with the new user management for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance makes the Cellbox 2.0 suitable for Cell & Gene therapy applications and all other fields where GMP plays a major role.” says Dr. Herbert Müller-Hartmann, CTO of Cellbox Solutions.
Cellbox Solutions is committed to offering robust and innovative logistics solutions for Life Science companies, raising the standard for facilitating transports of all materials under biologically relevant conditions.
